As a Security Officer - Logistics Site in Pooler GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location you will help monitor entry points screen people and property and support access activities while maintaining a visible presence. This role offers the chance to provide strong customer service clear communication and dependable security-related support as part of an agile reliable and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Screen employees visitors packages and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by following security-related procedures screening requirements and site policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and report concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Monitor entry points shipping and receiving areas and other assigned posts to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter noting conditions documenting observations and communicating security-related concerns according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
