As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Albany NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional front desk location within a financial institution where you will welcome visitors manage access control and badges monitor activity and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and assigned security-related protocols.
• Monitor access to the location by checking identification verifying appointments issuing visitor credentials and documenting entry and exit activity as directed.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Support daily front desk operations by answering questions providing directions receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate logs reports and other required documentation.
• Observe the lobby and reception area for suspicious unauthorized and/or disruptive activity and help to deter issues through visible presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
