Security Officer Hospital Evening Shift

As a Security Officer Hospital Evening Shift in Baltimore MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and respond professionally to security-related needs. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors parking areas entrances and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction wayfinding and compliance with site entry procedures.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of incidents observations and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
