Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Schedule: Saturdayand 1400-2200

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner and report observations and activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with directions and general inquiries and support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Document incidents patrol findings and unusual conditions and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Hospital assignments require vaccines.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
