This role is a full time SECOND shift role (3p-11p)- days will be flexible but there will be weekend days
Full Time Role
Security Officers are to ensure the safety and security of our premises assets staff and visitors. We are looking for a highly competent security officer to join our team to monitor and protect the premises. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard as well as training in self-defense and first aid. He or she will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or criminal behavior and prevention of theft or vandalism. This service includes:
- Performing security patrols on foot or in vehicle
- Maintaining site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Permitting authorized persons to enter property
- Preparing reports on accidents incidents and suspicious activities
- Providing assistance to residents employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Responding to emergencies
- Ensuring the safety of all residents
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NC drivers license
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Desire to serve senior adults
- Positive outlook
- Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented
- Working independently and on a team
- Flexible and able to handle a fast pace
- Great communication and documentation skills
