As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Services in Lakeland FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence while supporting access control visitor management and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries with integrity and care. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors delivery personnel and employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying visitor credentials maintaining entry records and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Receive and route calls deliveries and inquiries in a professional manner while maintaining awareness of front-desk activity.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures.
• Document and report unusual activity access concerns and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
