As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Assistancein Blythewood SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine patrols monitor assigned areas support access control activities and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities including production areas parking areas access points and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location verify visitor and contractor authorization and report unauthorized activity or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating observations to appropriate personnel and documenting activities accurately.
• Help to deter unauthorized access theft property damage and other security-related concerns through a professional presence and consistent patrol activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement military and/or corrections experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
