As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Qualified Patrol Driver in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a government port location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid drivers license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees contractors and/or port users by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned port facilities buildings access points parking areas waterfront areas and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as required and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports incident documentation and shift logs and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
