As a Security Officer Full Time Roving Patrol in New Brunswick NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support access control activities. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents guest concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property including lobbies hallways entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points observe activity at the location and document incidents observations and/or maintenance or service-related issues in accordance with site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
