Security Officer Full Time Plant Access

As a Security Officer Full Time - Plant Access in Fountain Inn SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas help deter security-related incidents support access control activities and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring reliable team that acts with integrity and supports a positive workplace environment.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas office spaces access points parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location verify visitor and contractor entry requirements and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrols incidents observations and other security-related activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
