As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Mishawaka IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures access control duties and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility entrances parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor foot traffic screen visitors as directed and support a professional atmosphere by communicating clearly with staff and the public regarding site rules and expectations.
• Assist with routine security-related checks of doors gates restricted areas and/or equipment and notify appropriate personnel of maintenance issues hazards or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
