Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Leawood KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will conduct routine rounds maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $20.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies disturbances and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility parking areas entrances and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening directions and adherence to site-specific access procedures.
• Document observations incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
