Job Summary

Security Officers are responsible for the safety of patrons employees and the Wynn and Encore addition Security Officers are responsible for ensuring all laws and policies are followed while being responsible for creating a positive guest experience by adhering to the Forbes five-star standards and the Wynn and Encore Core Values and Behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Security Operations

  • Patrol casino floor hotel areas and property perimeter to identify potential risks hazards or suspicious activity.
  • Prevent theft fraud cheating vandalism and unauthorized entry.
  • Enforce all company policies procedures and gaming regulations.

Incident Response & Emergency Handling

  • Respond promptly to emergencies including medical incidents fires disturbances and criminal activity.
  • Administer first aid/CPR as trained.
  • De-escalate conflicts and manage disorderly conduct professionally.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

Asset Protection & Compliance

  • Escort cash chips and other valuables across the property.
  • Verify IDs and ensure compliance with age restrictions and gaming laws.
  • Protect company assets and assist in safeguarding gaming operations.

Guest & Employee Service

  • Provide directions assistance and security escorts to guests and team members.
  • Maintain a visible professional presence to deter misconduct.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service while enforcing security standards.

Qualifications :

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior security law enforcement military or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Previous casino or gaming environment experience is a plus.

Licenses / Certifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming license / work cards.

  • Ability to lift carry and move as required
  • Comfortable working in a high-noise high-traffic casino environment

Work Environment

  • Resort and casino setting with 24/7 operations (including nights weekends and holidays)
  • Interaction with guests in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor areas
