As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization Gate in Lenexa KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will monitor entry points verify access credentials and help maintain an orderly environment for employees visitors and deliveries. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity communicate professionally and support security-related operations. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers visitors contractors and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify authorized access credentials maintain visitor and contractor logs and direct arriving personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points loading areas parking areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations incidents and shift activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
