As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Field Response in Signal Hill CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas help to deter incidents and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents public inquiries and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public-service agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of municipal buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points observe activity maintain required logs and reports and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly public-facing environment while following applicable site policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
