As a Security Officer Full Time Access Patrol in Sandston VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge technology location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support access awareness throughout the site. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points with attention to security-related concerns and policy compliance.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials when required and report suspicious behavior maintenance issues and/or unauthorized access attempts to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment within a technology-focused location by following post orders observing operational activity and helping to deter disruptions through visible presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
