As a Security Officer Entry Management Specialist in Norfolk VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic campus location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support daily operations through professional communication and customer this role you will help to deter security-related incidents while working with agility reliability and integrity. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or credentials and help to control authorized access for students staff visitors and vendors.
• Screen visitors maintain accurate access logs and/or visitor records and communicate relevant information to site contacts in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents policy questions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting procedures.
• Support security-related operations by observing activity at assigned access points reporting unusual conditions and/or assisting with directions and general assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
