Security Officer

Part-Time 7:30p - 8a

We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health this role you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols monitor surveillance respond to emergencies and facilitate conflict resolution

• Reports out-of-the ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds

• Respond to security and safety related emergencies

• Conducts investigations and completes reports

• Provides security escorts as needed

• Excellent customer service toward patients families and employees

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Valid KY drivers license with satisfactory driving record defined by Baptist Health Hardin policy is required.

• Good organizational oral and written communication skills.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security law enforcement or a related field.

• International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.
