As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Afternoons in Amana IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will help manage entry points monitor access activity conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid drivers license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points verify identification and authorization issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Control entry and exit of personnel vehicles and materials as directed helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points parking areas and the business perimeter documenting observations and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
