As a Security Officer CPO Armed Mobile Patrol in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in an education location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry when required while assisting with campus rules directions and general questions from the public.
• Support emergency protocols by communicating with local authorities campus contacts and site leadership during alarms medical calls and/or other urgent events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
