As a Security Officer - Corporate Buildingin San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support residents staff and visitors with professionalism and care. This role blends customer service communication and teamwork in a people-first environment where reliability integrity and innovation are valued every day.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests staff and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related support and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including interior common areas exterior grounds entry points and perimeter areas helping to deter unauthorized activity and policy violations.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access observe resident and visitor activity and report unusual behavior hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with security-related support in a shelter environment by helping de-escalate conflicts providing direction to visitors and residents and following post orders and site policies during daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
