As a Security Officer Continuous Patrol in Louisville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol professional conducting routine patrols maintaining a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents and delivering outstanding customer service and this dynamic role you will support daily operations with agility reliability and innovation while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through established communication channels and documenting activity in detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings restricted areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify that only authorized personnel and/or visitors enter designated areas following badge visitor management and escort procedures as required.
• Support site operations by observing for policy violations reporting maintenance and/or facility concerns and assisting with evacuations drills and other security-related responses as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
