Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorization maintain visitor and delivery logs and help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity unsecured doors and other security-related concerns.
• Support a respectful and professional environment by communicating clearly with residents guests and staff while following post orders and access control protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
