This access control role blends customer service communication and computer-based tasks while helping to reduce security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or shipping documentation and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings yards docks and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents delivery issues and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor vehicle trailer and/or delivery logs report unusual activity and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing gates parking areas trailer lots and loading areas for security-related issues and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to comfortably use a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
