As a Security Officer - Badge Checkpoint in BOISE ID you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will monitor entry points verify credentials manage visitor access and maintain a professional welcoming presence. You will help to deter security-related incidents through visible awareness clear communication and accurate documentation. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors contractors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology media and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees visitors vendors and deliveries in accordance with site access-control procedures.
• Operate access-control systems issue and collect visitor credentials maintain required visitor logs and report access discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents access-control alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas entry points and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security license is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
