As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Asset Protection in Norwood MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols document observations communicate professionally and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients drivers visitors and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities loading areas parking areas trailer yards access points and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry for personnel visitors and delivery-related traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs incident reports and shift communications while supporting orderly operations at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
