As a Security Officer Armed - Site Monitor in Spartanburg SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution construction location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to security-related concerns and provide exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution facilities construction areas parking areas access points and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as directed and document visitors deliveries and unusual activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws licensing requirements Allied Universal policies and client procedures; complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security law enforcement or military experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
