Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including taking appropriate action consistent with post orders for an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points observe activity and report security-related concerns hazards and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear accurate documentation regarding incidents patrol activity and/or interactions with the public and assist with directional support and general assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience is required.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A college degree is required.
• A corrections officer license is required.
• A DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate is required.
• A law enforcement officer license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
