Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility operational areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and report suspicious activity policy violations and/or hazardous conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support emergency preparedness efforts by assisting with evacuations restricted area control and coordination with site personnel and/or first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
