As a Security Officer Armed Patrol FTin Fairfax VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors with exceptional customer service and this armed post you will bring teamwork integrity and a people-first mindset while contributing to a caring reliable and innovative workplace.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical emergencies and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas entry points and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials as required and report security-related concerns hazards and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Support public order and de-escalation efforts during high-stress situations document observations and incidents and coordinate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
