Pay Rate: $32.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting supervisors first responders and/or designated personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds entrances and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials permits and/or identification in accordance with site policies to help to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly operations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs incident reports and/or shift pass-down notes and report maintenance concerns hazards and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
