Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Must be 21 years of age

Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas while verifying access permissions and reporting suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations.
• Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements maintaining professionalism and preparedness during routine duties and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
