Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and armed post protocols when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials when required and report suspicious activity unauthorized access attempts and/or security-related concerns.
• Document incidents observations and daily activities in written reports and communicate with site contacts first responders and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
