Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Chicago IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Security Officer you will patrol a retail shopping center maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for visitors tenants and staff. This driving post involves operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy responding to security-related concerns and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication teamwork integrity and a caring approach.

Pay Rate: $22.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants shoppers visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail common areas parking lots storefronts loading areas and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity hazards and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents customer concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following site-specific procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Help maintain an orderly shopping environment by monitoring access points observing activity throughout the location and reporting suspicious activity maintenance concerns and incidents.
• Complete accurate activity logs incident reports and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
