As a Airport Security Officer Patrol Concierge Services in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. At a busy airport location Allied Universal Officers conduct routine unarmed patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and assist travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Dayshift

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• 20 Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check drug screen and physical exam

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors travelers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents suspicious activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while communicating with airport personnel public agencies and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals public areas exterior grounds and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verify access permissions when required and report security-related concerns hazards and/or maintenance issues through proper channels.
• Support location operations by documenting daily activities preparing incident reports and providing courteous assistance with directions questions and general public interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
