As a Security Officer Access Verification Driver in Sulphur LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor access points verify credentials conduct routine patrols and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials process visitors and deliveries and document access-related activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns and/or unusual activity through appropriate reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access unsecured areas and other security-related concerns.
• Support vehicle personnel and material screening procedures as assigned while maintaining accurate logs reports and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
