As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Olathe KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points verify access credentials and support daily operations through visible presence strong communication and customer this access control role you will help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation caring and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor access control points by verifying credentials authorizing entry and/or exit maintaining visitor and vehicle logs and reporting unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents delivery discrepancies traffic concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location entry gates trailer yards docks and perimeter noting potential hazards unsecured areas and/or policy violations.
• Support security-related operations for a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment by observing inbound and outbound activity helping to deter unauthorized access and documenting incidents in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
