As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Owensville IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic utilities location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support a professional welcoming experience. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and attention to detail. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and credentials and document visitor contractor and vehicle activity in support of access to restricted and sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following post orders and escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings operational areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Support daily security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs communicating clearly with site contacts and/or emergency services and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
