Pay Rate: $21.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to authorized personnel visitors vendors and/or drivers while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government maritime transportation location.
• Control access to facilities terminals restricted areas and/or other designated locations by verifying credentials visitor authorization and entry requirements in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points visitor activity alarm systems cameras and/or communications equipment; report unusual conditions unauthorized access attempts and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established reporting and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points facilities grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
