As a Security Officer Access Control Coordinator in Kennesaw GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location you will help manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and support a secure welcoming environment for employees visitors and deliveries. You will remain visible communicate professionally and help deter security-related incidents while delivering dependable customer service. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and delivery drivers by carrying out access-control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and authorization manage visitor and contractor access and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic support gate procedures and communicate access issues or irregular activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points parking areas loading areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
