As a Security Officer - Access Control Chemical Company in Parma ID you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control professional at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and help support a secure environment through visible presence and strong communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors employees and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures access requirements and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials issuing visitor passes maintaining access records and directing authorized individuals and/or vehicles according to site protocols.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic including deliveries and contractor arrivals and report unusual activity access concerns and/or policy violations in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations by following post orders communicating with site contacts and documenting security-related events in a clear and timely manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points restricted areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity while observing changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
