As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Mapleton IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities production areas parking areas access points and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel and vehicle activity verifying credentials as directed and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols incidents observations and security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
