As a Security Officer Full Time Access Administration in Granite City IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points verifying credentials issuing badges and monitoring access activity. You will remain visible communicate professionally with employees and visitors and help address security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel contractors and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control policies and emergency-response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification processing visitor and contractor entries issuing credentials as authorized and maintaining accurate access records.
• Operate access-control systems cameras alarms and communication equipment; report access issues suspicious activity and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points perimeter areas parking locations and assigned industrial facilities to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
