As a Security Guard GED Verified Patrol Associate in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service and this role you will support a caring people-first culture built on teamwork integrity and a reliable agile and innovative approach to daily responsibilities.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies access control activities and/or emergency response actions appropriate to a government location serving vulnerable populations.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical situations and/or critical events in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings common areas entry points and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity unsecured areas and/or policy violations.
• Monitor visitor staff and resident movement in accordance with site protocols offering directions de-escalation support and professional communication during routine and high-traffic periods.
• Complete incident reports daily activity logs and other required documentation while maintaining a visible presence to help support order and compliance with location rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
