As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol in Tampa FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and assist visitors tenants and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate observations respond to security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants shoppers visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas parking areas entrances and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location reporting policy violations maintenance concerns and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management law enforcement emergency responders and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
