As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver in New Bern NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine vehicle and foot patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observed conditions and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production warehouse office parking and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees contractors and/or visitors in accordance with site protocols for a manufacturing location.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing shipping and receiving areas checking gates and doors and reporting maintenance access control and/or policy-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
