Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts supervisors and/or public sector partners as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials when required and report security-related concerns hazards and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support emergency and routine operations by providing visible presence assisting with crowd and/or traffic direction when needed and completing required reports related to daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
