Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Security Engineer Endpoint Security Tool Monitoring to support Cyber Primes cybersecurity privacy records and information management and related enterprise support for DHRA including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). Responsibilities:
- Perform the comprehensive cybersecurity tool-monitoring responsibilities defined in PWS 5.3.1.1.
- Validate upstream rollup of endpoint data to relevant security systems and reporting mechanisms including DISA CMRS as applicable.
- Maintain a weekly record of rollup validation and document and escalate incorrectly configured systems or environments.
- Develop recommendations to optimize endpoint-security configurations for accurate data collection alert generation and threat response.
- Provide supported configuration recommendations to Government tool administrators for implementation.
- Apply intermediate information-assurance expertise in network/server scanning mitigation compliance checking COTS security tools and Tier 2 troubleshooting to endpoint monitoring.
- Bachelors degree and five years of experience.
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access.
