Secret-Cleared Software Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Software Engineer in Littleton Colorado for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will develop test debug and integrate software supporting mission applications with a strong emphasis on Python and hardware/software integration.

• Bachelors degree with 35 years of relevant experience or masters degree with 03 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required to start.
• Python development experience.
• Hardware/software integration experience.
• Experience designing developing testing debugging and documenting software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct software errors.
• Ability to analyze system capabilities inputs outputs and software behavior to resolve technical issues.
• Experience applying established software development standards processes procedures and tools.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical and software documentation.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes digital multimeters power supplies and data acquisition systems.
• TestStand experience.
• Automated Test Equipment design experience.

• Plan conduct and coordinate software development activities.
• Design and develop software containing logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems.
• Develop software using appropriate programming languages and development tools.
• Test and debug software applications.
• Support hardware/software integration activities.
• Analyze system capabilities and software behavior to resolve technical issues.
• Correct software errors and support troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare operating instructions and development documentation.
• Apply established software development standards processes procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure software products meet applicable technical and quality standards.

• $110.00 per hour.
• No overtime premium.
