Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Secondary Operator. This is a general labor position actively engaged in performing deburring drilling tapping threading or other secondary operations as required

What you will get to do

• Rapidly precisely safely and accurately perform deburring flat sanding removing micro joints or other secondary operations as required.
• Read and interpret work orders blueprints and technical specifications to determine required secondary operations.
• Maintain proper tools and replace as needed to meet specifications.
• Record operational or production data.
• Load and unload items from both mobile and stationary carts crates and palettes.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing inspecting or wrapping.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Remove products or workpieces from secondary work environment to the next operation.

What you bring to the team

• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma GED or the equivalent is required
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: This position requires the ability to understand and communicate basic English as defined by English equivalent to satisfactory grammar school level (6^th grade English) in order to accurately comprehend and express legally required communications. ( Department of Labor (DOL) safety information (MSDS) US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) production record keeping raw materials safe handling instructions customer and shipping destination product labels etc.)
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic counting and math skills.
• OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Be able to work well under the pressure of production deadlines work cooperatively with others and be dependable & timely in ones work. Ability to follow directions correctly and efficiently perform tasks and a willingness to work with a team.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Near Vision the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
